This year, the Ålesund Symphony Orchestra has chosen to hold our concert highlighting young musical talents at Gomerhuset in Skodje, where we will conclude the cultural days there. The concert is arranged in collaboration with Fjord Cadenza and is part of their INTRO series. This will therefore be a family-friendly concert, where all children receive free admission and with Inger Bakke as the conference host. Musically, we can promise a symphonically exciting, varied and entertaining program, with gems from the romanticism of Bruch and Saint-Saens to excerpts from the musical “Chess” and premieres of newly written orchestral works! The conductor for the concert is Tom Gontier.
