Soloist: Laurens Weinhold

Laurens Weinhold graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He has participated in a number of international festivals and won soloist awards, including the Youth Music Championship and Fjord Cadenza. Laurens joined the string quartet in the fall of 2019, and since 2021 has also been involved in the musical direction of the Stavanger Art and Music Festival.

Jan-Erik Hybertsen has since 2010 worked regularly with several of the country's orchestras and defense bands such as the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Norwegian Marine Band and the Air Force Band. He has also conducted concerts with the National Opera in Romania and the National Philharmonic in Moldova and worked with the Prince's Band in Denmark. Hybertsen is a trained conductor from the Norwegian Academy of Music where he studied with Ole Kristian Ruud, and he completed his diploma with the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra in 2010. He has also participated in the INTERAKTION conducting workshop in Berlin where he had the opportunity to work with musicians from the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Staatskapelle Berlin and the Konzerthausorchester. Hybertsen has also studied opera conducting with Paolo Arrivabeni at the Opera Royal de Wallonie.
